Eliminating smoking in indoor spaces is the only way to fully protect nonsmokers from secondhand smoke exposure. More than 7,000 chemicals, including hundreds that are toxic and about 70 that can cause cancer can be found in second hand smoke. Absolutely reprehensible! The Centers for Disease Control for the United States is clear on this subject and second hand smoke has the potential to kill you. I find it reprehensible for someone to sit down next to a complete stranger (or anyone for that matter) and light up a cigarette. Why the Chumash Community could allow this to go on is beyond me.
